Behind-the-Meter Prime Power
A2X Energy develops modular natural-gas power systems for continuous service to AI, data center, and industrial facilities. The platform combines generation, electrical systems, controls, emissions equipment, and long-term operating support in a project-specific design.
Core solution
Modular Natural-Gas Power Blocks
A2X configures standardized power blocks around the facility's load profile, required in-service date, growth plan, and operating criteria. Capacity can be deployed in phases as the load increases.
Prime and continuous-duty operation
Modular capacity additions aligned with load growth
Integrated generation, switchgear, controls, and balance of plant
Black-start and islanded operation where specified
Low-NOx combustion and SCR emissions controls where required
Long-term operations and maintenance support
Project Delivery
Load and Site Definition
Confirm target capacity, ramp schedule, duty cycle, reliability objectives, site control, fuel availability, emissions jurisdiction, and required in-service date.
Technical and Commercial Configuration
Develop the preliminary power-block configuration, redundancy basis, balance of plant, emissions approach, operating model, and commercial structure.
Engineering and Permitting
Coordinate site-specific engineering, studies, air-quality review, permits, and licensed contractor or EPC scope.
Procurement and Delivery
Coordinate equipment supply, logistics, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning through qualified partners.
Operations and Availability Support
Operate and maintain the system under the agreed service model, with monitoring, planned maintenance, parts strategy, and contractual performance terms.
Reliability architecture
Designed for Mission-Critical Availability
The reference architecture is designed around block-level N+2 unit redundancy and plant-level N+1 power-block redundancy, subject to project-specific engineering. The system is intended to support Tier III and Tier IV facility requirements; final facility certification remains the responsibility of the facility owner and the applicable certifying body.
Availability agreement
Commercial structures can include long-term service agreements with defined maintenance responsibilities, response standards, and project-specific contractual availability commitments.
Commercial and delivery model
Develop-Build-Own-Operate
A2X can structure, finance, own, and operate the behind-the-meter power asset under a long-term customer agreement. Project structure varies by site, counterparty, credit, equipment configuration, and operating requirements.
Delivery qualifier
Engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning are coordinated and performed through appropriately licensed contractor and EPC partners where required.
Optional battery storage
Battery Energy Storage
BESS may be added behind the meter when it improves ride-through capability, power quality, ramp management, peak management, black-start support, or system economics. Storage sizing and operating strategy are determined by the site's actual load and operating requirements.
Optional solar
Behind-the-Meter Solar
Solar may be included where site conditions, interconnection design, land availability, and project economics support it. A2X does not position utility-scale solar as a standalone core offering.
Data center application
Power Infrastructure for AI and Data Centers
A2X brings together project development, equipment integration, capital structuring, qualified delivery partners, and long-term operating support. Our model can include developing, financing, owning, and operating the power asset under a long-term customer agreement.
Emissions approach
Project-Specific Emissions Controls
A2X evaluates low-NOx combustion, selective catalytic reduction, and other required controls based on equipment selection and local air-quality rules. Where natural gas replaces diesel-based prime generation, the project may reduce certain emissions and carbon intensity, depending on fuel, duty cycle, equipment, and operating conditions.
Solutions disclaimer
System configuration, redundancy, emissions performance, schedule, and availability commitments are project-specific and subject to final engineering, permitting, fuel availability, and executed agreements. Construction and installation services are performed through appropriately licensed contractor and EPC partners where required.
